Fullstack Job: Mid-level Fullstack Java Developer

Blu Omega is a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) IT services firm. We provide Technology solutions for enterprise and government customers. Our team works with the best of the best in Cloud, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps and Data Analytics.

This is a 100% remote, long term assignment.

We are seeking a mid level developer who has experience with Angular 11+, NoSQL databases and Java who wants to help build out program of applications for an HHS organization.

A well-qualified candidate must demonstrate experience taking functional requirements of software and decomposing them into modules. You must be able to define the interfaces between those modules and external services with appropriate interface control documentation.

Job Description:

• Build, consume, document, and integrate APIs in a development, test and production environment
• Develop RESTful API's in Python Flask, Angular and / Or Node JS Express is required.
• Develop functional databases, applications, and servers to support websites on the back end
• Develop web applications for internal IT Services
• Lead and manage end-to end life cycle to produce software and applications; through a project conception to go-live and operations.

Required Technical Qualifications:

• Collaborates with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
• Shares a passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community
• Utilizes various programming language, Open-Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker, and a variety of Development tools and services
• Experienced in MVW frameworks like Django, Angular, HTML, CSS, XML, Java Script, jQuery, JSON and Node.js.
• Able to interpret non-technical business needs into problem solving software.
• Focuses on solving issues and addressing business needs.
• Helps consolidate technology and applications to achieve business agility, cost reduction and improved customer experience.
• Drives continuous improvement of processes and tools used to deliver useable and applicable software.
• Shows passion for attention to detail and leverages analytical skills to address client’s needs
• Communication proficiency.
• Possess problem-solving skills.
• Leads efforts to improve quality of websites as well as making recommendations regarding design issues, upgrades, and security.
• Leads and attends meetings to plan work, discuss design recommendations, and provide status reports.
• Diagnose user experience issues of major complexity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
